  • To support the realization of a European Higher Education.
  • To reinforce the contribution of higher education and training at tertiary level the innovation process.

One way to achieve these goals is encouraging mobility of students between the various participating institutions in the program.

Who can participate?

Who can participate?

  • Students and trainees learning in all forms of education and training at tertiary level.
  • Institutions of higher education, as specified by Member States.
  • Faculty, trainers and other staff within those institutions.
  • Etc.

Universities to be able to go where

Universities to be able to go where

Every year the University of Valladolid publishes a list of the universities with which it has established a student exchange agreement.
This list is renewed each academic year, universities adding and withdrawing it. The new list will appear in approximately October with destinations for the next academic year.

Be alert to Web International Relations UVa, where will be shown the list of destinations for the course next to the current.
In an informative, You have here the list conventions ERASMUS + for the course current.

What to study?

What to study?

What to study?

Currently conventions that keeps the school of computer science are designed to make the end of degree work in the host University, therefore, are aimed at students in recent years (students taking 3rd this year, 4th and study next year; or who are studying subjects 4th this year and plan to do the TFG next year) of graduate studies in Computer Engineering.

Since the agreements are aimed at the realization of the TFG, Erasmus scholarship not be awarded to students who have not passed all subjects in the first year of degree.
While the student may request the scholarship, the grant is conditional have passed all subjects in first year. The student can pass the subjects with missing the first course during the current academic year, which is prior to his stay at the University hypothetical target. If at the time of filling in Learning Agreement this condition is not fulfilled, responsible for the exchange NO sign the Learning Agreement, and the student may not go.

Of course, apart from the completion of the Bachelor Thesis may take other subjects at the University of host.

Some universities require that ERASMUS students enroll in a minimum number of ECTS or, equivalently, enrolling subjects specific blocks. Looking for more information on the website of the University who choose.
Consider our TFG are 12 ECTS (approximately ECTS that will have to study at the University of destiny in / s subject / s equivalent / s to TFG). If a full course of our Computer Engineering are 60 ECTS, and go for a full course, Unacceptable in the academic year you will be enjoying a scholarship just have a load of 12 ECTS, when the rated load for a course is 60!

Recognition of courses

Can I validate subjects you studied in the host university with the University of Valladolid?

The exact matching content / duration between materials of different universities (Even among Spanish Universities!) is very difficult, so the validation of materials (besides GFR) is unusual.

Anyway, if your goal is to recognize subjects, agenda that seeks the signature (the equivalent) University host this document and contact the UVa responsible for this agreement (the teacher in charge of each agreement is available on the list agreements).

What is the Learning Agreement?

What is the Learning Agreement?

The Learning Agreement is a document where the compromise between three parts specified: student, University and the University of Valladolid host, consisting in educational activities completed at the host university and to be recognized by the University of Valladolid (as if they had been taken and evaluated at UVa).

You can see the model of Learning Agreement pressing here.

How long stay?

How long stay?

If you look at the information in each destination, duration of stay is specified. This data are in principle Indicative, can be varied according to your personal circumstances.

Like this, for example, is possible to go to a destination that is specified by default duration 9 months (two semesters), and make a stay of only one semester (October to January, or February-June); this change must notify before you go.
It is also possible that once in the host university decide prolong stay up 9 months, provided they have the consent of both justification and Universities.

Preliminary considerations

Preliminary considerations

Seems trivial, but think that once you're at the University of destiny, You can not attend the teaching of the subjects taught at the school of computer engineering, in particular to all those that require presentiality.

Exceptionally some teachers of certain subjects establish some mechanism for carrying / delivery / assessment of practical work not involving presentiality, but we must insist that it is exceptional. Get information on this aspect properly.

By targeting the completion of the TFG, the recognition the work done in the host university as TFG University of Valladolid around your stay is subject to having passed all other subjects (namely, have overcome 228 ECTS, of the 240 consisting of the current curriculum). These 228 ECTS are the subject of compulsory Placement (formerly called Practical Training), which by its very nature is a fully-face course.

There is the possibility of performing the Work Placement in a company or institution the host university (see below).

If you've done ECTS activities recognized by the UVa, and your intention is to validate them by an elective Curriculum, Before starting make sure you already have all the necessary ECTS for validation. Bear in mind that only recognizes UVa credit assistance activities are published on their website (list of activities), and that such activities are classroom, what you can not perform them when you sit at the host university.

The language It is critical. The vast majority of universities only admit students with a level of Chart B2 or higher for English. There are even some that start demanding B1 or higher in the language of the host country. In all agreements the minimum level specified language.
If when you send your documentation to qualify for the scholarship Erasmus does not have the necessary level of language, can grant you the scholarship conditional the level of language; UVa, in collaboration with its Language Center language tests for certain months of the academic year, strategically placed to obtain the certificate of level just to accompany him to the documentation of the ERASMUS scholarship.

Before asking the scholarship

Inquire before ordering the scholarship

  1. In October the International Relations UVa gives talks inform the Centers for Erasmus grants. There you'll find out first hand about destinations, registration dates, language tests, etc..

Some colleges relax this time if the stay is to be made in the second quarter.
  2. Fill Learning Agreement indicating the subjects go on to study at the university with their corresponding destination in Valladolid.
  3. Enroll in these courses. For the Bachelor Thesis, when the student has unfinished business, simply register for the unfinished. No student may leave Erasmus without being registered in any subject, Final Year or if, since there would be a student of the University of Valladolid.
  4. Along with tuition, given to the secretary a copy of the Learning Agreement, with signatures and stamps required from the University of Valladolid. This document is the one who justifies the student is in an Erasmus stay in that course and, therefore, must appear in separate records. Must be given a copy of Learning Agreement the charge exchange.

During the stay

During the stay

  1. Bring Learning Agreement to the host institution.
  2. Get signatures of departmental and institutional coordinators of the host university with relevant stamps.

ERASMUS + for INDat

ERASMUS + for INDat

INDat is the name of the dual degree program: Computer Engineering and Degree in Statistics.

Them students of this double title are students at the same time of the degree in engineering computer and of the degree in statistics. This means that they can choose destinations ERASMUS + offered in computing EI and also to destinations ERASMUS + offered degree in statistics. Like this, When these students consult the destinations, you will see the one of the two studies.

Each destination has its own conditions. Consult your questions to the appropriate coordinator or the responsible of the Exchange:

  • Computing EI: subdireccion.investigacion.inf@uva.es
The conditions that apply are those indicated in the preceding paragraphs.
  • Degree in Statistics (Faculty of Sciences): vicedecanato.alumnos.cie@uva.es
The conditions that apply are basically the same as for the degree in computer engineering, but there are certain changes, aside from those already mentioned about the destinations. Better to get in touch with the Coordinator of international of the Faculty of Sciences.

Any student of the studies of grade can have up to 12 stays ERASMUS + months. One possibility is that they consume these months in two destinations: one of the of the degree of statistical, and the rest on a target of computer.
