TECHNOLOGICAL OFFER: Hardware performance evaluation. Increase of performance by using parallel programming.

LINES OF RESEARCH: Storage and indexing of RDF on the Web of data collections. Modeling of public data under the philosophy Linked Open Data . Representation of bilingual texts for use in translation applications. Compression of very repetitive scenarios biological and documentary collections. Generic tools for information retrieval in large collections of data.

TECHNOLOGICAL OFFER: Warehouse design of compact data for the management of large volumes of information. Scalable consultation mechanisms developed on the compact representation of the data. Experience on the reuse of public data in different application scenarios.

ADVANTAGES OF MARKET: Theoretical and applied knowledge of the techniques and more advanced tools for compressing and indexing of large collections of data. Comprehensive understanding of the workflow necessary to value the data released by the public administrations.

Companies potentially interested: All those companies that handle large volumes of information ( Big Data ) and they need scalable tools to put in value its data. Companies interested in taking advantage of the underlying business opportunities to the liberation of public data in Spain. LINES OF RESEARCH: Application of advanced mathematical models of optimization management and location of health services.

TECHNOLOGICAL OFFER: Has developed a software application, PROASCYL (Program of optimization of the sanitary assistance in Castilla y León) It allows you to resolve, using optimization models, several problems related to the management of certain health services at the regional level of Castilla y León. These problems include various problems of location services, and other static and dynamic routes. That application is already a fundamental tool in the management of primary care services, serving aid both in the assessment of the current status of the various services in the process of decision-making on new services and reorganization of existing ones.
