Elias Abril Lorenzo, recent graduate of the Degree in Computer Engineering by the School of Computer Engineering of Valladolid receives the award for the best project of the XVII edition of the HP Technological Observatory

The recent graduate of our School Elías Abril Lorenzo has been awarded the prize for the best project carried out as part of the XVII edition of the HP Technological Observatory of León HP SCDS.

In this edition they participated 49 students of 7 Northwestern Universities: University of Oviedo, University of Salamanca, University of Burgos, University of Valladolid, University of Cantabria, University of Santiago de Compostela and University of León.

The work done by Elías Abril “LecturApp: Application to encourage reading in children, showing augmented reality clips on the cover of a book" was tutored by two HP SCDS Engineers and their academic tutor by the UVa Alejandra Martínez Monés, professor of the Department of Informatics at the School of Computer Engineering of Valladolid.

Last 16 in September of 2022 the award was presented at the Closing Ceremony of this edition of the HP Technological Observatory of León HP SCDS.
