The 7 from September to the 12:00 in the Hall of Degrees of the Building was held the act of welcome to the students of new entry in our School of Computer Engineering of Valladolid.
The new students filled the Hall and were greeted by the School Principal, Professor Manuel Barrio. Other members of the management team attended, first-year teachers, the Director of the It Department, Professor Diego Llanos, the coordinator of the Degree in Computer Engineering, Professor José Manuel Marqués, and the coordinators of the Intercenter Committee for the joint InDat program between our School and the Faculty of Sciences, Professor Luis Ángel García Escudero and Professor Alejandra Martínez Monés.
In the act the Director of the School explained to the students different aspects of the school and studies as well as university life. They also took part in the event to welcome and talk to the students, the Director of the Library of the Piedad Casado Campus, the academic secretary of the Faculty of Sciences María del Pilar Rodríguez del Tío, Alejandra Martínez on behalf of the Inter-Centre Committee, the representative of the Student Delegation Miguel Ángel García Sanz, as well as representatives of the student associations with the greatest presence in our School: Álvaro López Primo on behalf of the University Group of Informatics (GUI), Jorge Sánchez Manrique on behalf of SUGUS (Sugus, A University Cybersecurity Group) and Pablo Marcos Parra on behalf of the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) Valladolid.
