Google Hash Code is one of the most important competitive team programming events in the world. Organized by Google, the contest poses a real engineering problem that contestants must solve and optimize to take points.

This year, the problem was the organization of a project schedule, optimizing the employees involved to be able to carry out each project taking into account the skills required for said project.

Organized by the Google Developer Student Club of Valladolid in collaboration with the School of Computer Engineering of Valladolid, a hub was created to offer a place where participants could work with their team in person and safely in the Information Technologies and Telecommunications building of the Miguel Delibes Campus last year. 24 February to the 18:30h.

More than 35 people to compose a total of 12 Equipment.

After the 4 contest hours, took the victory of the Valladolid hub with 2.857.175 points the team send_pepes composed by Javier Gatón Herguedas (recent graduated from Computer Engineering UVa), Juan Marcos Arranz Díez (student of the double degree of Physics and Mathematics UVa) and Miguel Antonio Núñez Sáiz (current student of Computer Engineering UVa). In addition, with that number of points, the team was placed in the top 5 of teams throughout Spain.
