Do you dare to participate in one of the most important data analytics competitions in Spain?
Cajamar UniversityHack 2022 is the largest data analytics competition in Spain and, from this course, all students of the University of Valladolid who are interested (regardless of qualification), you can participate. There are more than 25.000 € in prizes, including a prize for the team that wins the local phase of the University of Valladolid. In addition, just for participating, you will have a month of subscription with unlimited access to O'Reilly Media's online training platform.
You can register, individually or in teams up to 3 people, by Wednesday at the latest 9 February's 2022, and then you will have a month (from the 18 from February to the 21 March) to develop your project. You have all the information in

What needs to be done in the competition?
There are two categories of participation or challenges, but you have to choose and focus on one and only one of those two challenges.
A challenge is “Cajamar Water Footprint” and involves developing a predictive model. Will you be able to predict water consumption for next month??
The other challenge is “Atmira Pharma Visualization” and is focused on data visualization. Will you be able to make the best application, web, dashboard or advanced graphical analysis based on data provided by a company engaged in the sale of pharmacy and parapharmacy products?
Important: you have to choose! you can only participate in one of those two challenges!!
Who can participate?
Any undergraduate student, Masters, own degree or doctorate from the University of Valladolid (regardless of qualification), provided that you have been enrolled in the UVa in this course 2021/2022 or in the past 2020/2021.
How are teams formed??
Teams must be made up of at least 1 and up to 3 maximum people. All team members must be enrolled in this course (or in the past) at the University of Valladolid (may be from the same or different degrees).
If you want to participate as a team but do not find anyone who dares to participate with you, write us an email to subdireccion.alumnos.inf@uva.es because perhaps we will already know someone else who is in the same situation and we can put you in touch.
