Oxys, Alvaro Martín Gutiérrez's project, UVa Computer Engineering student, has won the Explorer University of Valladolid Space program 2021, Banco Santander's entrepreneurship program, promoted through Santander Universities and led by the Santander Entrepreneurship International Center (Isse), coordinating the University of Valladolid Science Park for six editions.

Alvaro's winning project consists of a system that allows to ventilate any room by opening the windows without losing the interior temperature, thus achieving constant natural ventilation, gaining in well-being and reducing excessive heating costs due to the need to open the windows.

This entrepreneur has presented his project together with other 16 before a jury formed by Santiago Alvarez Santos, manager Institutional Banking Castilla y León de Banco Santander; Enrique Baeyens Lazarus, director of the UVa Science Park; Pilar Pérez Santana, director of the UVa Employment Area; Gloria San José Fernández, Agency for Innovation and Economic Development of Valladolid City Council; Maria Teresa Sánchez Parra, member of Secot Valladolid and Pedro Ignacio Ruiz de la Loma, coordinator of the University of Valladolid Space.
