From the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), agency under the Ministry of Economy and Business through the Secretary of State for Digital Advancement, we're organizing CyberCamp 2019, the big cybersecurity event to be held this year 27 to the 30 November in Valencia.
One of the activities included in CyberCamp's intensive programming is the Hackathon, a face-to-face competition for collaborative software and/or hardware development that runs in a playful environment as a resistance race. Since the 27 to the 30 November, and uninterruptedly, teams participating in The Hackathon will compete by developing tools, open source solutions and/or applications in the field of cybersecurity, demonstrating their talent and technical and creative skills.
Identifying cybersecurity talent, provide an educational environment to improve software research and development capabilities, developing the social capacities of participants by promoting teamwork and fostering networking, helping participants accumulate experience from an expert jury and fostering interaction with the security community are the objectives of this well-established initiative, that each year arouses greater interest.
The deadline to register for this competition ends on Thursday 24 October.
