The students of the school of computer engineering Gonzalo Roa Gutiérrez, Víctor Sanz Martín, Luis Tomé Urgelles and Mario Villacorta García they were rewarded with one of the four major awards in the hackathon of cybercamp, the “Special mention to the best classified project presented entirely by students”. Our students presented themselves under the name of computer UVaNoobs and with the project “BlueFingerprint: electronic lock system based on the relationship of trust between the user's mobile device and an arduino, It will share a pair of asymmetric keys, and they will use the fingerprint as a complement for validation.”

Also a great result for our student Adrián del Prado Suárez, resulting award-winning for its fourth position in the competition CTF. Remember that Adrian had already defeated in the ‘ European Cyber Security Challenge 2017’.
