Practical workshop on application security analysis tools and techniques

As part of the activities of the Master in computer engineering, within the framework of the subject “QUALITY, AUDIT AND PROCESS SAFETY, SERVICES, RESOURCES AND SOFTWARE PRODUCTS” a workshop will be held in two sessions.

Apart from students enrolled in the course, shall be a maximum of 15 assistants in order of request. This workshop would be designed primarily to students of the Master, students of the last three mentions of the degree of computer engineering courses, including the double degree to consider having the knowledge base, specified later.

He has worked as a quality engineer in various projects implemented in numerous production environments. Passing through SolidGEAR participates in the design and implementation underway in process improvements in the field of automation and the audit. Also develops its training activities for clients like Renault Spain or in the “SolidGEAR Academy” – internal initiative last year Informatics students-oriented. He currently collaborates in the development and deployment of edge computing in Telefónica I + d projects. His main fields of interest include the automation in processes of development, continuous improvement of software products, the design and collection of metrics related to quality, distributed systems or software open source. It actively contributes to open source as ownCloud projects, GitLab, among others.

Basic knowledge to follow the workshop

  • Basic knowledge of system administration
  • Using git and gitLab
  • less relevant: something with flask or django Python (in order to deploy a web application with which to conduct the workshop)
