Cognizant Technology Solutions has created Lady Tech Scholarships. Lady tech are some scholarships for women of between 18 and 25 years who want to study computer engineering or telecommunications or double degrees that include any of these two qualifications.
The objective of this initiative is to promote university education in technological careers among young women, to try to redress the balance in the number of men and women who study these races. In total are on offer 20 scholarships of €500.
Requirements:
- Being a woman and having between 18 and 25 years
- Be enrolled in a university career in the field of computer engineering and telecommunications at a Spanish University, whether it is public or private, whose qualification is approved by the MEC
- They only taken into account to obtain the scholarship subjects which are in 1st call. Shall be paid the total cost of the subjects of first call and up to a maximum of 500 Euro per person per year. For the help, It must be a subject of new registration
- The payment of the grant will take place during the first fortnight of the month of November
How to get scholarship
You must send an email to crecruitspain@cognizant.com putting in the subject “Lady Tech” before the 30 September providing the following documentation:
- Request document (You can request it by mail crecruitspain@cognizant.com )
- Phone number
- Photocopy of DNI or NIE
- Bank account where you want to be you enter grant No.
- Photocopy of proof of payment of tuition
- Photocopy of college tuition where you specify the number of call for each subject
The allocation of the 20 grants will be made according to the order of application, taking into consideration the total budget allocated to these grants. Applications must include all the documentation detailed above in rule. During the first fortnight of the month of October we will notify by e-mail the grant applicants from the same.
