The Vice President for internationalization and language policy calls up to 50 places for degree of the University of Valladolid students who wish to participate in the Mentor program during the second semester of the course 2017-2018.
This program offers the opportunity to support and guide to foreign exchange students at the start of your stay at the University of Valladolid and in our cities.
Tasks to be developed by the Mentor:
Each mentor will be assigned a maximum of 5 students pledging to support them in the following aspects:
- Social counselling: prior to his arrival contact, hosting, support in the search for accommodation, regularization of their stay, language support, integration into the Spanish culture…
- Academic advising: information about the curriculum and content of subjects, school calendar, tutorials, enrollment, exams,…
- Information about University services: International Relations, Office of international relations of each centre, Library, Computer room, Sports service, Language Center, University dining service, Students associations…
Selected students can obtain two joint cooperation activity credits, Once they have successfully completed their activity.
