The Coding Contest brings to 38 programmers at the school of computer engineering

Last Friday 20 October, returned the Coding Contest, an international programming contest, the school of computer science engineering in Valladolid. The event, that has already had a previous Edition with more of 50 participants in March of this year, they wanted to make a smaller version and is initially offered up to 30 squares. But, due to the high demand of participation and the enlargement of squares, Finally they were 38 contestants who gathered at the laboratories of the school of computer engineering, that left patent high interest in this type of event in the city of Valladolid.

These 38 participants in Valladolid joined the rest of the most of 2300 contestants who were involved at the same time from Linz, Vienna, Frankfurt, Pretoria, Paris and so up to 27 cities distributed around the world.

This contest is organized from Austria by the Catalysts and Runtastic software companies, and to grow in number of contestants after each edition. One of the features that gives more prestige is that the problem always resolve is real and current major, as Hyperloop, in the edition of March, or Blockchain, in this latest edition.

The Valladolid-based organization has been carried out by UVaCoders, the algorithms and competitive University programming team. And he has counted with the support of the school of computer engineering and the of the own University of Valladolid.

The Coding Contest now awaits its next edition, which will be next 27 April of 2018, in which the school of computer engineering will be headquarters.
