Leibniz University Hannover is currently hosting an app development competition as part of the MAPPING EU FP7 project (http://www.mappingtheinternet.eu/), which is being co-financed by the EU Commission.

Privacy via IT-Security: Innovating Mobile Apps

The competition is aiming at students, scientific personnel and other young innovators from the EU and the associated countries.

The awards are:

  1. Winner: 20.000 EUR + 1 week start-up working station at CeBit 2016
  2. and 3. Winner: 1 week start-up working station at CeBit 2016 each.

The awards will be presented at the Award Ceremony on 14 March 2016 at CeBit Scale 11 involving the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Privacy. The event will be accompanied by adequate media coverage and involve representatives of leading companies in the market.
