As part of activities of the International Education Week in Computer Science.

The School of Engineering at the University of Valladolid organizes next day 2 of December a special event as part of the International Week of Education in Computer Science. This event is known worldwide as Hour of Code (https://hourofcode.com/es).

Participation in the event is open to the community, but preference is given to members of the University of Valladolid: students, PDI, PAS. For students of the school of computer engineering involved shall be considered for all purposes as part of the programme the Wednesday talks.

To participate you must bring your notebook. The event will be held in the Sala Hedy Lamarr of the Building Information Technology and Communications Campus Miguel Delibes Valladolid University (https://goo.gl/maps/7t3GrCnopWt).

The event starts at 12:00 with the Started tutorials different programming languages ​​one hour. It is not about learning to program, but to program in a new language, discover the language that had never scheduled. You can attend the early code: Ruby, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Go lang, C , Java, further initiations also offered special-purpose languages ​​like HTML5 + CSS, SQL, R, Processing.

You can also participate in advanced workshops, for those who want to deepen and put to work in practice using some of these languages ​​in the development of web applications, Android native mobile applications or web-based apps hybrid technology. These advanced workshops will be held between the 13:00 and the 16:00 with lunch break.

attendees at these workshops are encouraged to stay for lunch, bringing your own food or eating cafeteria menu of our School.
