Summer stays in European supercomputing centers

The European consortium WORKS (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) has launched 20 scholarships European students oriented to spend time in the major European supercomputing centers next summer (the months of July and August) and collaborate on projects related to HPC (High Performance Computing):

The scholarships include all associated costs to stay (travel, accommodation and meals), and projects that can assist in HPC centers are these:

No specific knowledge of high performance computing is required since the first week of stay is dedicated to making a tutorial about it.

The application deadline ends on 8 March

The request must attach a teacher recommendation, and you have to make some programming exercises to solve a mathematical problem. In the following link you can see an example of application:

If a student scholarship grant him the possibility that the activity performed during the stay could serve as TFG / TFM if a UVa professor supervising the work involved would be considered.
