ABSTRACT

Since the revolution in the mobile world created by Apple with the introduction of the iPhone first and then from the App Store, developing apps for smartphones has grown steadily, and entertainment products are one of the most important sectors of this industry. This presentation provides a review of the various current mobile platforms, technologies available to develop and market video games on them, and the most common problems we face at game developers in this sector.

 
JAVIER AREVALO

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – PYRO STUDIOS

Javier Arevalo began developing commercial video games Year 1986, with titles “Stardust” and “Bronx”. In 1995 developed “SpeedHaste”, one of the first Spanish games with 3D technology and worldwide distribution.

In Pyrostudios worked in “Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines”, he was responsible for technology “Commandos 2: Men of Courage” and directed the strategy game “Praetorians”. Currently working as a technical director in the new social and mobile projects Spanish study.

At different stages abroad, directed scheduling “Microsoft NBA Inside Drive 2000” in Chicago and was one of those responsible for technology "[Prototype]"And Vancouver.

He has also participated, from 2005, as a teacher in several Master Programming Video Games, first in the Complutense University of Madrid and currently in the U-Tad.
